Our promise

Your data, your call.

The legal pages are important, but they are long. This is the human version of what happens to your information.

What we promise

  • We will not sell your information. Not now, not later.
  • We will not use advertising cookies or follow you around the internet.
  • You choose what is shown. Every detail on your ID has its own switch, for each persona.
  • You can take it all with you, and you can delete it all, whenever you want.
  • No messages and no feed. People cannot message you through Nect Me.
  • We will tell you if something important changes.

Take your data

Open Nect Me, go to You, and choose Download my data. You get a file with everything we hold about your account, in a format you can read.

Delete your data

Open Nect Me, go to You, scroll down and choose Delete my account. Your profile, photo, signature, list and event history are removed straight away. Some records have to stay for a short time, for example an anonymous visit count, or a record that you unsubscribed so that nobody emails you again.

Prefer that we do it for you? Send us a message from the email address on your account.

Organisers and your details

When you join an event, the organiser receives the details you chose to share. From then on they are responsible for how they use them, under the law and our organiser rules. Every email an organiser sends through Nect Me has a one-tap unsubscribe link.
